When I was a little girl, God gave me a dream that one day the Lord would call me to make a difference in Ethiopia, Africa. This dream started to become a reality as my business grew and my husband Michael and I went on to adopt, as well as sponsor many children, from Ethiopia. Through this process, my eyes were opened even more and my heart was broken for a particular area in the city of Addis Ababa.

Korah, an area where the poorest of the poor of Addis Ababa live, children and families literally live inside and amongst the trash dump. I knew that they were to be seen as far more than that…they are seen as TREASURED! My dream to empower the people living there, specifically the Women and Children, has been more and more stirred in my heart with each day that passes. So over these past eight years, I have spent countless time there, developed relationships with amazing organizations and partners & prayed over ways to bring long lasting help and solutions for Korah.

TREASURED intentionally supports these families and children via several organizations that are very close to my heart. I have personally worked with them for years now and am thrilled to be able to champion what they are already doing by bringing awareness to the needs and providing an opportunity for all of us to get involved. Trust me when I say there is NO DONATION TOO SMALL (and no donation too big!)

These organizations are there on the ground, day in and day out, working with the children and families that are living in the trash dumps of Korah. They know first hand what is needed and what is priority for these precious TREASURED Ethiopian people. It is my honor to walk alongside them to make sure we do everything we can to get these needs met and beyond!

From things like a small mattress purchase, to clothing, to food to monthly child sponsorships…the ways WE CAN HELP are all genuinely LIFE-CHANGING! So again…no amount is too small to help this community of families living in the trash dumps. JOIN ME in helping them know they are LOVED, CARED FOR and OH SO TREASURED!

This has been a city known as being forsaken, cursed and forgotten. However…we know that God has not forgotten about Korah He is just getting started! These are truly God’s treasured ones! God has a great plan for these women, men and children.
